potions of a plant-based yogi

my all-time summer fave! what better to cool down than banana ice cream infused with high-vibe superfoods. a nutritious way to beat the heat ;)

these recipes are all sugar-free, gluten-free and vegan. each recipe is for 1-2 servings.

the base ::: 
1 ripe (preferably overripe) bananas
  • peeled, chopped, fully frozen in container (usually 6h+)
1/8-1/4 cup of sugarfree oat milk (creamiest + most ecofriendly of ALL milk alts)
  • I usually opt for the vanilla flavour

flavours ::: 

blueberry + lavender
talk about antioxidant spa smooth. my all-time favourite to refresh and relax. option to add to damiana, passionflower, mint or valerian to the tea for an extra calming effect. 

1 frozen banana
splash of oatmilk (less than other recipes due to addition of tea)
1/8 cup of lavender tea

handful of blueberries (frozen or fresh)
to top: blueberries, lavender from tea 


to prepare lavender tea
fresh lavender + basil, massaged. low-boil for 20 min, let sit.
I usually do a large quantity of this tea as I use lavender base on hand for a variety of things, i.e.  lavender limeaid, to add to my water, etc.)


basil cardamom
the best think I have ever made.

1 frozen banana
splash of sf vanilla oat milk
fresh basil leaves, massaged and chopped, blended first. add milk and cardomo and blend again.
1 tbsp cardamom, crushed, mixed
crumbled walnut to top

mint chocochip
my og favourite flavour. energizing. refreshing. indulgent. 


1 frozen banana
splash of oat milk
splash of mint extract
1 tsp matcha powder
1 tsp spirulina powder
fresh mint leaves, massaged and chopped
to top: chunks of 100% cacao (sugarfree), mint leaves













cinnamon orange
talk about holidaze under the sun vibes. energizing, stimulating, hormone-balancing.

1 frozen banana
splash of oat milk
orange extract
1 tsp maca powder
1/4 tsp ashwadhanda powder
dash of spices: cinnamon, ginger, clove
to top: fresh blueberries and/or sugar-free cacao
